The following guide will walk you through the process of registering a Yealink T26P with the 3CX Cloud Server. If you are using Session Border Controller please see my other post on registering with 3CX Cloud Server and SBC.
Please note, that at the time of writing this article the Yealink T26P has it’s own supported release of firmware for use with 3CX. Firmware version 22.214.171.124 (located here). To optimise your 3CX experience it would be best to ensure that the firmware is set to 126.96.36.199 before configuring the phone for use with 3CX.
Step 1: Connect Phone to Network and Log into the Phone
Connect the Yealink T26P to the network and navigate to the IP address of the phone in a web browser. If you do not know the IP address of the phone press the Menu button on the phone and then select Status.
Once you have navigated to the IP address of the phone you will be prompted to log into the phone. If this phone is straight out of the box it will have the default username and password set by Yealink.
